Introduction
Surah Al Isra is the 17th chapter in the Holy Quran. The title translates to “The Night Journey.” It is also referred to as Surah Bani Israil. This surah was revealed in Mecca. It consists of 111 verses, 12 rukus, and 1 sajdah. Surah Al Isra can be found in juz’ 15.
The surah discusses the authority of the prophets, the Night Journey of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.), and the commandment of the five daily prayers.
