یہ درود اولیاء اللہ کے اکثر معمول میں رہا ہے بے شمار اولیاء نے پڑھا ہے خاص کر حضرت میاں شیر محمد شرقپوری عارف کامل کے بارے میں بیان کیا جاتا ہے کہ آپ یہ درود کثرت سے پڑھا کرتے تھے اور اپنے مریدین کو بھی یہی درود پڑھنے کی تلقین فرمایا کرتے تھے کیوں کہ یہ درود الفاظ کے لحاظ سے مختصر ہے مگر معنی کے لحاظ سے جامع ہے اس درود پاک کے فوائد بے پناہ ہیں سب سے بڑا فائدہ یہ ہے اس درود کو پڑھنے والا حضور صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم کا محبوب غلام بن جاتا ہے اور دین و دنیا میں اسے کسی چیز کی کمی نہیں رہتی اور سکون قلب کی دولت سے مالا مال ہو جاتا ہے۔ بزرگانِ چورہ شریف حضرت با با فقیر محمد چوراہی اور ان کے سجادہ نشین حضرات کے معمول میں یہی درود کثرت سے پڑھا جاتا ہے ۔

Durood Khizri
This durood has been in the routine of the Saints of Allah. Countless saints have recited it, especially Hazrat Mian Sher Muhammad Sharqpuri Arif Kamil. He used to advise that because this Durood is short in terms of words but comprehensive in terms of meaning, the benefits of this pure Durood are immense, the biggest benefit is that the one who recites this Durood becomes a beloved slave of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He goes and he does not lack anything in religion and the world, and peace is enriched with the wealth of the heart. This Durood is recited frequently in the routine of the elders of Chora Sharif, Hazrat Baba Faqir Muhammad Chorahi and his Sajjada Nashin.
