Definition of Tauheed:
Tauheed is an Arabic term that means “unification” or “asserting oneness”. In Islam, it is a theological term that refers to the belief in the oneness, uniqueness, and I comparability of Allah. It is the foundation of Islam’s ethics, philosophy, systems, and institutions. Tauheed is the First Pillar of Islam which along with other pillars completes the cycle of Faith in a Muslims life. Tauheed is the major difference between the Muslim and a non Muslim.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِ وَيُمِيْتُ وَهُوَحَيُّ لَّا يَمُوْتُ أَبَدًا أَبَدًا ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

”La ilaha Illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyi wa yumitu Wahuwa Hayyu-l Laa Yamootu Abadan Abada. Dhul Jalaali Wal Ikraam. Biyadihil Khair. Wahuwa Ala Kulli Shai-in Qadeer.”

ترجمہ: اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اسی کے لیے بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کے لیے تمام تعریفیں ہیں وہ مارتا ہے اور زندہ کرتا ہے وہ ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لیے زندہ ہے جس سے موت نہیں عظمت اور بزرگی والا ہے اسی کے ہاتھ میں برکت ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔

Translation: ”There is none worthy of worship except Allah, He alone has no partner, to Him belongs the kingdom, and to Him is all praise, He kills and gives life, He is ever-living for ever, from whom there is no death, greatness and Exalted is He, in His hand is blessing, and He is able to do all things.”
